Ghenadie CONTU, plastic surgeon, specialist in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery 

With constant passion and concern in the field of beauty, Dr. Ghenadie Conţu considers aesthetic medicine a challenge and a fulfillment. He can predict with great precision the results of his  interventions, for which patients are grateful even over the years. His principle in his work is that a plastic or aesthetic intervention should be made only when the patient needs it and when the result will be visible.

The approach addressed by Dr. Conţu is very diverse: abdominoplasty, body lift, liposuction, brachioplasty, breast augmentation, breast reduction, mastopexy, breast reconstruction, correction of breast asymmetries, facial lifing, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, otoplasty, etc. In addition, with the development of obesity concerns, he also addressed the integrated treatment of the bariatric patient in which the post-bariatric reconstructive surgeries occupy an essential place for an optimal result. Another success that imposes him in the international community of specialists in the field, is to obtain much shorter times for multiple interventions under the effect of a single general anesthesia.

He obtained in 1990 the title of PhD in medicine, and since 1996 he is an assistant professor.

He has performed almost 10,000 successful surgeries, has published 127 scientific works and 1 monograph and is the author of 3 inventions.

The desire to be up to date with the latest surgical techniques, as well as the continuous increase in the number of patients, determined Dr. Ghenadie Conţu specialize at international level, bz taking different courses and lectures abroad. He has perfected his surgical techniques in the most famous clinics and universities in Romania, Italy, USA, Russia, Turkey, France, Czech Republic, Greece, Ukraine and others. He is an active member of the most important Plastic Surgery Societies: the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS); of the International Confederation of Plastic Surgery Companies (ICOPLAST); is President of the Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of the Republic of Moldova (MAPRAS).

Ghenadie Conţu has presented his work at the largest congresses of cosmetic surgery in the world, along with the most renowned cosmetic surgeons.

Currently, he is the Head of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department of the SANCOS Clinic.
